The 46-year-old actress looked winter chic as she strolled around New York City with her son James Wilkie yesterday.
The nine-year-old sported some interesting headgear as he traipsed around Manhattan with his A-list mother.

He wore a bright yellow dog-shaped winter cap from the Cartoon Network show Adventure Time with Finn & Jake.
The rest of his ensemble was just as colourful as his hat.
He wore bright red mittens and Converse Chuck trainers as well as teal jeans and a turquoise shirt.

Like his fashionista mother, however, he did wear a black jacket.
The Sex and the City star looked far more stylish in her winter wear, pairing her elegant black coat with trendy rolled-up jeans and heeled black boots.
She also carried an exotic and no doubt expensive black handbag.
