Back in the spotlight: A beefed-up Madonna appeared at a press conference in Indianapolis ahead of her half time Super Bowl performance on Sunday

She's as fastidious with her workouts as she is at keeping herself in the showbiz spotlight.
And just three days ahead of her Super Bowl half time performance and it appears Madonna has been hitting the gym hard in preparation for her performance in front of an expected 100m plus viewers.
The 53-year-old singer will make her singing comeback on Sunday when she takes to the stage during the popular American sporting event, revealing she will give renditions of three old songs and her new track, Give Me All Your Luvin.

Star-studded: Madonna had intricate artwork on her fingernails

The Material Girl singer attended a press conference today in Indianapolis, admitting she is somewhat nervous about performing in front of such a large live TV audience. Madge sported a pinstriped outfit for the occasion, with her waistcoat revealing her bulging biceps which have made her synonymous with the gym junkie culture.
Her corset-style top also revealed her tiny waist. Back in May last year she shocked reporters at the Met Ball Gala in New York, revealing she felt fat in her stunning blue gown.

While fashion critics agreed she looked stunning, the Queen of Pop had apparently lost her red carpet confidence and felt self-conscious in the Stella McCartney-designed clinging dress.
Just a few years back - before taking a musical hiatus to direct her first movie, W.E., Madge would workout for hour and hours every day.
In an interview this week, she claims to have cut down - but still admits to doing 90 minutes of exercise five days a week.
'Mania? There is that rumour,' she told Anderson Cooper when he asked if she worked out obsessively.

he went on: 'I don't work out as much as I used to to tell you the truth, it's been widdelled down to an hour and a half five days a week. I have four kids, I have five jobs.'
Speaking at today's press conference, Madonna said it was a dream come true to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show - but conceded she was feeling pressured by singing in front of the huge live television audience.
Last year's Super Bowl attracted U.S. viewers of 111 million people - the largest for a single television broadcast in the United States.
'This is a Midwesterner girls dream to be performing at the Super Bowl halftime show,' said Madonna, who was born in Bay City, Michigan.

Fashion statement: She donned pin striped trousers, a corset-style top and mini waistcoat

Madonna, whose biggest global live TV performance was likely Live Aid in 1985, said she would sing three 'old songs' and her new single 'Give Me All Your Luvin' during the show.
She said she would dedicate her performance to her father.
'I was raised in the Midwest, and he is the personification of Midwestern values, he gave me the work ethic that I have, so if I am a hardworking girl who never stops its because of him.
'Also, I am sure of all the things I have ever done in my life this will be the thing he is most excited about,' she said.
