Business is booming! Lucy Mecklenburgh arrives at work to be greeted by crowds of eager TOWIE fans

Business is booming: Lucy Mecklenburgh arrived at her boutique yesterday in Brentwood, Essex to be greeted by a crowd of fans

Any small business owner would be over the moon to arrive at work on a Saturday to see a crowd of customers waiting at the door.
But for the sight is commonplace for Lucy Mecklenburgh, who was greeted by hoards of The Only Way Is Essex fans when she turned up to lend a hand at her store Lucy's Boutique yesterday. The reality star, 20, swanned into the shop at 1.30pm to meet her customers and help out behind the tills. When Lucy arrived, a group of about 20 shoppers were queued up outside, waiting for the previous customers to leave the small premises.

But the eager fans were rewarded for their patience out on the cold pavement, and squealed in delight when they saw Lucy approaching.
The TOWIE star chatted and posed for some pictures with the fans before making her way inside.

Of course, most of the group had timed their arrival to coincide with Miss Mecklenburgh's, after she tweeted when she would be making an appearance at the store.
Lucy and co-stars Sam and Billie Faiers, Jessica Wright and Lydia Bright enjoy packed stores on the weekends, when fans from all over the country journey to Essex to visit the ITV2 reality show's filming locations.
The pretty brunette certainly wasn't dressed for a full day on her feet, in a dress, blazer and heels.

After her afternoon in the store, she was looking forward to a night in, writing to fans: 'Dinner then a film in bed :-) .. It's too cold to party !!x'
Some fans may have been left disappointed on Sunday though, when the harsh weather forced Miss Mecklenburgh to keep the store closed.
She tweeted: 'Sorry girls @lucys_boutique is shut today .. My lovely staff can't get in and I'm filming all day :-( .. X'
