But for a Vanity Fair photoshoot it appears that Kristen Stewart has ditched her tom boy chic in favour of show-stopping glamour.
The Twilight star, 21, was seen sporting a full face of dramatic make-up as she made her way to to meet with legendary photographer Mario Testino for Vanity Fair.

While she might not have been in her couture gowns for the high-fashion shoot her smokey eyes and coiffured hair were just a taste of the spectacle to come.
Kristen was seen on the set of the shoot sporting an elaborate black gown with lashing of organza around the neckline.
The young actress was seen arm-in-arm with Chanel head honcho Karl Lagerfeld who had shied away from his usual all-black attire stepping out in all white to match his hair.

As she left the photo shoot Kristen found herself surrounded by fans.
While the star usually shies away from fuss she was happy to pose for pictures and sign autographs.

But the actress, who is playing the role of Snow White alongside Charlize Theron, had her usual surly face on as she made her way back to the hotel.
