Golden girl: Abbey Crouch walks the beach in a skimpy string bikini as she basks in the glow of the late afternoon sun

As the nights draw in and the temperatures start to plummet here in the UK, many of us start to think about escaping to warmer climes.

Especially looking at Abbey Crouch, who is currently soaking up the sun in a very warm Dubai while the rest of us shiver at home.

The model was snapped in a skimpy string bikini as she strolled along the beach, soaking up the later afternoon sun.



Abbey, 25, looked amazing just eight months after giving birth to daughter Sophia in March, as she walked along the sand, showing off her very enviable toned and trim body.

Abbey, who is married to Stoke City striker Peter, 31, is taking a break from being a footballer's wife and mother to relax for a few days in the United Arab Emirates.

She is a guest at the Grosvenor House Hotel and has brought along her mother Karen and a friend to enjoy the break with her.

But she cut a solitary figure as she walked the golden sands, her tanned skin glowing in the low sun, no doubt taking some precious time for herself before she returns home.

Three days ago, Abbey, who looked sensational in a red bodycon dress, was joined by her mother and her friend for the opening party of Mark Fuller's Embassy Club at the hotel.

And we might be getting to know a bit more about Abbey's family with the start of the new reality TV show Desperate Scousewives.

One of the cast members of the Liverpool-based E4 is Chloe Cummings, a wannabe model and Abbey's cousin.

But Abbey is said to be 'furious' that the 20-year-old has signed up for the show, according to The Mirror.

A friend told the paper: 'Abbey fears the WAG theme will reflect badly on her and the rest of their family - as though they are only interested in hooking up with footballers. She urged Chloe to give it more thought, but the deal is done.'
