With three nominations each at this year's Brit Awards, Jessie J and Adele will be competing to see which of them is the most successful British female.
However, after today's outing at The Savoy Hotel in London, it looks like Adele has already won in the fashion stakes.
British Singer Jessie J rocked up to the Brit Awards Nominations this afternoon in her most bizarre outfit to date.
The Do It Like A Dude singer was barely covered up in a transparent long black dress that showed off her rather plain underwear.
The 23-year-old looked like she had been taking grooming tips from the cast of The Only Way Is Essex as she wore hair extensions and appeared to be covered in fake tan.
The fashion victim, real name Jessica Ellen Cornish, wore a floor length sheer dress that had huge circular holes sown into it and revealed a pair of black granny pants and matching bra.
She also had on a pair of open toe ankle boots and a black leather jacket which was decorated with discarded bottle caps.
Her normally short bob was replaced by a very feminine hairstyle as she wore her black coloured extensions with a gentle wave running through them.
Jessie J is nominated for Best Female, Best Breakthrough and Best Single for Price Tag, while Adele is up for Best Female, Best Single, and British Album Of The Year.
The two stars are both alumni of the talented Brit School and were even in the same class at the Croydon school.
Adele, 23, was not at the nomination ceremony as she is still recovering from throat surgery.
She was extremely pleased with her nominations and said on Twitter today: 'f***ing happy, thank you for the nods xx.'

Jessie J also commented on the social networking site but seemed to be addressing criticism of her outfit.
She said: 'A girl is not what she wears but what she knows.'
The Brit Awards will take place on February 21 at London’s O2 Arena.
